Who we are

QZ Infomatics is an ERP and IT solutions company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, at 207, Building 3, Bay Square, Business Bay, Dubai. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean QZ Infomatics, and "you" means anyone visiting qzinfomatics.com or contacting us through it.

We are the controller of the personal data described here. For any question about this policy or about data we hold, write to info@qzinfomatics.com.

What personal data we collect

Information you give us

Your name, company, work email, phone number and whatever you write in a message when you complete a contact or enquiry form, apply for a role, or email us directly.

Information collected automatically

Standard web analytics: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring site, device type and browser. This is aggregate usage data rather than a profile of you personally.

Information we do not collect

Figures entered into our free calculators are processed in your browser and never sent to our servers. Salaries, contract values and margins typed into those tools do not reach us and are not stored anywhere.

How we use your data

• To answer you. Replying to an enquiry, arranging a call, or responding to a job application.
• To deliver work. Managing a project, contract or support arrangement where you are a client or a client's employee.
• To improve the site. Understanding which pages are useful so we write more of what helps and less of what does not.
• To meet legal obligations. Keeping records that UAE tax, employment and commercial law require us to keep.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Our legal basis for processing

Under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, we process personal data on one of these bases: your consent, where you have given it; the performance of a contract with you; our legitimate interest in operating and improving our business, balanced against your rights; or compliance with a legal obligation.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, and analytics cookies that tell us how the site is used. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you individually.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Necessary cookies aside, blocking them will not stop you using the site, though some preferences may not persist between visits.

Who we share data with

We share personal data only where there is a reason to:

• Service providers who host this website, deliver our email, or run our analytics, under contract and only for those purposes.
• Technology partners where you have asked us to arrange a licence or raise a support case on your behalf.
• Professional advisers and authorities where we are required to disclose by UAE law.

Some of these providers process data outside the UAE. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure a comparable standard of protection.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to twenty-four months, so we have context if you come back to us. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for as long afterwards as UAE commercial and tax law requires. Job applications are kept for twelve months unless you ask us to remove them sooner.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy of it;
• correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• delete data where we no longer have a reason to keep it;
• restrict or object to a particular use, including direct marketing;
• withdraw consent where consent was the basis for processing.

Write to info@qzinfomatics.com and we will respond within thirty days. There is no charge for a reasonable request.

How we protect data

We apply access controls, encryption in transit and the security measures our hosting and email providers offer as standard. Only the people who need access to an enquiry or a project have it. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise, but we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when what we do changes, and we change the date at the top when we do. Material changes will be flagged on the site rather than made quietly.
