ERP software modules

Start with what hurts.
Add the rest when it earns its place.

QZ Infomatics implements fifteen ERP software modules covering finance, procurement, stock, warehousing, production, maintenance, payroll and customer operations. Each one is configured on Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Oracle NetSuite for businesses in the UAE and GCC. You do not need all of them on day one, and most contractors start with two.

✓ 15 modules, one data model✓ Configured, not custom built✓ UAE compliance included✓ Add modules as you grow

How to buy modules

You do not need fifteen modules on day one

The fastest way to make an ERP project fail is to switch everything on at once. Every module below is real, and most businesses go live with two or three of them.

The big-bang rollout

Everything, everywhere, at once

  • × Twelve modules configured before anyone has used one
  • × Training spread so thin that nothing lands
  • × Data migration for processes you have not agreed yet
  • × Go-live date slips, and confidence goes with it
  • × Cost known only at the end
How we phase it

The two that hurt most, first

  • ✓ Phase one solves the problem that made you call us
  • ✓ People are genuinely using it before phase two starts
  • ✓ Each phase is separately priced and separately useful
  • ✓ Later modules join the same data model, not a new system
  • ✓ You can stop after phase one and still be better off

Fifteen modules, grouped by what they do. Each links to a page covering what it handles and which platform we build it on.

Family 01

Projects & cost

For any business where the job, not the department, is the unit of work. This is where contracting implementations almost always begin.

Project costing

BOQ-linked budgets, committed cost, forecast at completion and live job margin against every cost code.

Project costing

Procurement

Requisition to LPO to GRN with budget checks and three-way matching, so commitment reaches the job at approval.

Procurement

Document control

Drawings, submittals, RFIs and transmittals under revision control, with an audit trail that survives a claim.

Document control
Family 02

Stock & supply chain

Buying it, holding it, moving it and knowing what it actually cost you to land. The three modules distributors start with.

Inventory management

Multi-store stock, barcode issue, lot and expiry tracking, and consumption costed to the job or the batch rather than to overhead.

Inventory management

Warehouse management

Bin locations, picking, putaway and dispatch. A different discipline from inventory, and usually a different team.

Warehouse management

Supply chain

Demand planning, supplier lead times, replenishment rules and landed cost across the chain.

Supply chain
Family 03

Operations & assets

Making things, maintaining things, and knowing what the equipment actually costs to run.

Production planning

Bill of materials, routings, works orders, shop floor control and quality checks built around how your floor runs.

Production planning

CAFM & CMMS

Asset registers, planned maintenance schedules, work orders and SLA tracking for facilities teams.

CAFM & maintenance

Plant & equipment

Asset register, internal hire rates, utilisation and depreciation, with plant charged to the job instead of absorbed.

Plant & assets
Family 04

Finance & compliance

The ledger, and everything the FTA expects to see coming out of it: VAT, corporate tax, WPS and e-invoicing, configured during the build rather than afterwards.

Accounting

UAE VAT, corporate tax, multi-currency, multi-entity consolidation and WIP recognition inside the ledger.

Accounting

Expense management

Vendor bills read and posted by AI, employee claims, approval routing and card reconciliation.

Expense management

WPS payroll

SIF file generation, gratuity, overtime and allowances, with site labour costed to the job in the same run.

WPS payroll
Family 05

People & customers

The employee record, and the revenue side of the business, sitting on the same data model as everything above.

HR & people

Onboarding, leave, visa and document expiry, appraisals and org chart on one employee record.

HR & people

CRM

Pipeline, quotations, customer-specific pricing and recurring billing, on the same record as the ledger.

CRM

Point of sale

Retail and F&B outlets posting straight to stock and the ledger, online and offline.

How a phase runs

Five stages. You know the cost and the date before stage one ends.

A two or three module first phase is typically live in eight to twelve weeks.

  1. 01

    Discovery

We map your processes and agree which modules solve the problem you actually called about.

    Week 1–2
  2. 02

    Fixed proposal

Modules, integrations, migration scope, timeline and a fixed price. Later phases quoted separately.

    Week 2
  3. 03

    Configure & migrate

Standard configuration wherever possible, so adding module four later does not mean a rebuild.

    Week 3–9
  4. 04

    Train & go live

Role-based training on your own data, a parallel run, then cutover with consultants on site.

    Week 9–12
  5. 05

    Hypercare

We stay until the first month closes cleanly, then scope phase two if you want one.

Frequently asked questions

What buyers ask about ERP modules

What are ERP modules?

ERP modules are the functional areas of a single system: finance, procurement, inventory, warehousing, production, maintenance, payroll, HR, CRM and point of sale. Because they share one data model, a purchase order raised in procurement reaches the ledger, the stock record and the job cost without an integration between separate products.

How many modules do we need to start with?

Most businesses go live with two or three. We pick the phase-one modules in discovery based on the problem that made you look for an ERP in the first place, because a first phase that solves one real problem is worth more than a big-bang rollout that solves none of them well.

Can we add modules later?

Yes, and that is the point of a modular platform. Later modules join the same data model rather than arriving as a separate system with an integration between them. We keep the first phase on standard configuration precisely so that adding a fourth module later is a configuration job, not a rebuild.

What is the difference between inventory and warehouse management?

Inventory management answers what you own, where it is and what it cost, including lot and expiry tracking. Warehouse management answers how it physically moves: bin locations, picking routes, putaway and dispatch. A distributor usually needs both; a contractor with site stores usually needs only inventory. Inventory management.

Do the modules handle UAE compliance?

Yes. UAE VAT, WPS payroll with SIF generation, FTA e-invoicing and corporate tax reporting are configured during the build rather than raised as a change request afterwards. This is the area where a generic international implementation most often has to be reworked. UAE e-invoicing.

How much does each module cost?

Modules are not priced individually because the cost is driven by configuration, integrations and data migration rather than by the module count. A two or three module first phase typically runs AED 30,000 to 120,000 on Odoo, with platform licences quoted separately. We fix the price before build work starts.

Which platform should the modules run on?

Odoo for a single entity under roughly 100 users, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations where the team already works in Microsoft 365, and Oracle NetSuite once several entities have to consolidate into one group close. Because we implement all three, the recommendation follows your requirements. Compare the platforms.
