ERP platforms we implement in the UAE

Four platforms in house.
One recommendation you can actually trust.

QZ Infomatics implements four ERP platforms in house from Dubai: Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle NetSuite and CogniVision AI, our own computer vision platform. Carrying four rather than reselling one means we can publish where each platform stops being the right answer. Odoo suits single entities under one hundred users, Dynamics 365 suits Microsoft 365 teams, and NetSuite suits multi-entity groups.

Why it matters

A single-licence vendor decided your platform before the first meeting

There is nothing dishonest about a reseller. There is something structural about it. If a company only sells one platform, every discovery session can only end one way.

Tied to one licence

The answer arrives before the questions

  • × Discovery confirms a decision already made
  • × Every gap closed with custom development you then maintain
  • × “Yes, the platform can do that” to everything
  • × You find the real limits after go-live, at your cost
  • × No incentive to tell you the project is too small, or too big
Four platforms in house

The requirements decide

  • ✓ The recommendation follows entity structure, user count and workflow
  • ✓ We publish where each platform stops
  • ✓ Certified teams on all four, not one team improvising
  • ✓ Standard configuration first, custom development last
  • ✓ If none of them fit, we will say so

The four platforms below are what we actually deliver. Each block says who it suits and, more usefully, who it does not.

Platform 01 — most common starting point

Odoo

Broad functionality at a controlled licence cost, on a single shared data model. For most UAE businesses under 100 users this is the honest answer, and it is the one a licence-tied vendor will not give you. We are an Odoo Silver Partner with a dedicated functional and technical team.

Where it wins

  • › Lowest total cost of the four, by a wide margin
  • › Modular, so you start with what hurts and add later
  • › One data model across finance, stock, MRP, CRM and HR
  • › Strong fit for contracting, trading, manufacturing and F&B

Where it stops

Typical engagement

8 to 14 weeks for a single entity, AED 30k to 120k implementation depending on modules and migration. Licences quoted separately and transparently. See Odoo pricing →

Platform 02 — if you already live in Microsoft

Microsoft Dynamics 365

Finance & Operations for groups and high-volume businesses that need enterprise depth. If your team already works in Microsoft 365 all day, the adoption curve is shorter than anything else on this list, and project accounting for contractors is genuinely strong.

Where it wins

  • › Native Excel, Teams and Power BI integration
  • › Familiar interface cuts training time materially
  • › Strong project accounting and job costing
  • › Finance and Supply Chain Management on one platform

Where it stops

Typical engagement

12 to 20 weeks for Finance & Operations with two or three integrations. Best value when Microsoft 365 is already the working environment across the business.

Platform 03 — for groups with several entities

Oracle NetSuite

When four companies produce four closes and a group number nobody fully trusts, this is what fixes it. Intercompany elimination and consolidation are handled once in the system, not rebuilt every month in a spreadsheet.

Where it wins

  • › Best-in-class multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation
  • › One close across companies and countries
  • › Mature audit trail for regulated and investor-backed groups
  • › Scales past the point where the others start to strain

Where it stops

Typical engagement

20 to 32 weeks for a multi-entity or multi-country rollout. This is the platform we recommend least often and defend most strongly when it is right.

Platform 04 — built by us, not resold

CogniVision AI

Our own computer vision platform. Site safety, gate access, attendance and automated inspection, feeding straight into the ERP rather than sitting in a separate system nobody reconciles. We own the roadmap, so changes do not wait on a vendor.

What it does

Where it fits

Why it exists

Site attendance was the one thing no ERP handled well enough for UAE contractors, so we built it. We own the roadmap, which means a change request is a sprint, not a vendor ticket.

How an implementation runs

Five stages. You know the cost and the date before stage one ends.

The same process whichever platform we land on.

  1. 01

    Discovery

We sit with finance, operations and the people doing the work. No template questionnaire.

    Week 1–2
  2. 02

    Fixed proposal

Scope, platform, modules, integrations, timeline and a fixed price. In scope means covered.

    Week 2
  3. 03

    Build & migrate

Configuration, data migration and integrations, reviewed by your team every sprint.

    Week 3–9
  4. 04

    Train & go live

Role-based training on your own data, a parallel run, then cutover with consultants on site.

    Week 9–12
  5. 05

    Hypercare

We stay until adoption is real, not until the invoice clears. Then optional AMC support.

Frequently asked questions

What buyers ask us about platform choice

Which ERP platform is best for a UAE business?

There is no single answer, which is exactly why we carry four. Entity structure matters most: a single company under 100 users is usually Odoo, a Microsoft 365 house is usually Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, and a group closing several entities is usually Oracle NetSuite. Industry then decides the configuration. Compare the four side by side.

How do you stay neutral if you resell all of them?

We are paid for implementation, not licence volume, and we implement all four with certified teams. The commercial pressure that pushes a single-licence reseller toward one answer does not exist here. The practical test is whether a vendor will tell you where their platform stops. Ours are published on this page.

What does an ERP implementation cost in the UAE?

From roughly AED 30,000 for a small Odoo deployment to AED 400,000 or more for a multi-entity Dynamics 365 or Oracle NetSuite rollout. Cost is driven by user count, modules, integrations and data migration; platform licences are quoted separately. We fix the implementation price before any build work starts. Use the cost calculator.

Can we start on one platform and move later?

You can, but migrating an ERP is expensive and disruptive, so the honest goal is to pick the one you will still be on in five years. Where we see a growth path, such as a single entity that will become a group, we scope the eventual structure in discovery so the first build does not have to be thrown away.

Do you implement SAP?

Not currently. We implement Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle NetSuite and our own CogniVision AI. If SAP is genuinely the right answer for your business we will tell you and point you elsewhere rather than take the project.

Our ERP is already live and it is not working. Can you help?

Yes, and this is a large part of what we do. We run a structured health check on the existing implementation regardless of who put it in, and come back with findings and a fix plan. Sometimes the fix is configuration, sometimes it is process, and occasionally it is the platform. ERP health check.
